What to expect
Most visits take about 45 minutes to an hour. The exam is quick and simple — a bite check, a look around, and X-rays when they're needed. The cleaning itself uses a high-powered tool to clear away plaque and tartar your toothbrush can't reach, finished off with a professional flossing and a fluoride treatment.
